Coach and club Secretary Steve Love thought it would be a good test for his U/17's to pitch them against an older team in their run up to the new season and decided to bring back the old U/18's, now the U/20's.

At first it appeared that, having found alcohol, we would struggle to get enough of them out of bed in time but late comers Chris Theobald and Reggie Cumbers swelled the chosen to 14. At half time the U/20's were 4-1 up but a spirited second half performance from the U/17's bought the score back to 4-3 in the end. 

I great day for all, and one which will be repeated possibly every first Sunday in September??!
