After last week's disappointment of having our good result taken away from us today we put in a very impressive performance and continued playing good attractive football with the team dominating the play right from the start and it wasn't long before our pressure awarded us with a penalty which Adam slotted away nicely, it was from that early stage that the tone of the game was set and taking us through to half time with a 5-0 lead.

In the second half I changed the formation slightly simply because I felt that playing 5 in midfield was a bit too crowded for the narrow pitch and so went for the more conventional 4-4-2 with Alex B partnering Freddie up front, in this half our domination was even greater which was reflected in the 10-0 score line giving us the overall win of 15-0.

I saw some nice passages of play at times during the game and was pleased to see many players looking at what was available to them before making the pass and it was this style of play that created the initial openings from which we scored.

With personal performances I must make mention to the following:
Alex H, Scored a great goal when the ball came out to him just outside the box.
Ben DeTuris, continued with another strong performance, a great start to season.
William, In the second half Will moved up from defence to midfield and scored 2 goals.
Jack, great battling closing down the opposition and breaking up their play and covered so much ground.
Josh, his work on and off the ball during these early stages of the season had been excellent, yesterday scored a hattick had many assist and his corners have always looked dangerous.
Adam, Started off yesterday with a good penalty and in the second half scored a wonderful free kick and his effort, enthusiasm and leadership during the whole game was superb.
Freddie, my MOM one great goal in the first half and went on to  score 5 goals in total and this could have been even more but for a few near misses and the keeper pulling of some fine saves.

For those I haven't mentioned you all played you part too to make this a great team performance.
