So today we came to our last game of the season, against a team we have already beaten twice comprehensively, so was expecting another victory.

It was a game that had no meaning for either side other than pride, it was apparent throughout the game that Maidenbower had come today  to enjoy themselves,  so a very strange a first half where we totally dominated and went in 8-0 up. In the second half  formations and player positions were tinkered with and still we dominated and added another 5 goals, giving us an overall 13-0 victory.

This week I'm not going to go into detail about the game nor a man of the match, but feel we need to celebrate our excellent season and it's highlights.
First we achieved our target of gaining promotion finishing in second position; we got to the semi-final of the premier cup competition; Freddie was not only our divisions top goal scorer but also the highest goal scorer in the whole of the Horsham and district football divisions for all ages; scoring a massive 61 goals. As a team we carried the same statistic scoring a whopping 182 goals. All of this was achieved playing only 25 games, and we only conceded 20 goals and to cap it all we had 12 clean sheets. All 12 of our outfield players scored, and Toby only narrowly missed making that a 100% of all players, and finally our players filled 3 out of the top 6 scorers for the season.

Well done team, you can all be really proud of yourselves.
